Based on the 1900 children's novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, in 1939 has appeared  an american musical fantasy film produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, The Wizard of Oz. It was a great success, and the movie won 2 Oscars. Since then every child knows the story of Dorothy Gale. 
In 2013 Oz The Great And Powerful comes back and for the first time, in 3D. A prequel to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz that tells how Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, transforms himself into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz.
